Part Numbers 101

How to put part numbers into the system:

Please be sure to type the correct part numbers into the search box. You will find that they must go in correctly.

PENN PARTS:

Penn part numbers are put in with a dash(-) for example 3-113 or 40-60. some of the new Penn schematics have 0’s in front of the part number for example 003-113, or 040-060. Please be sure to remove the 0’s as our system does not use them.

SHIMANO PARTS:

Shimano parts all clearly have a 4 or five digit number preceded by(RD, BNT, TGT, TLD, or TT)

Please enter the prefix letters followed by the four or 5 digit number For example BNT0330, or RD 0930, or TGT1252, or TLD0005, or TT 0126. The RD and TT four digit numbers have a space between the prefix and the number, but some of the newest reels have 5 digit numbers that will go into the system without the space for example RD10212 or TT11120.

DAIWA PARTS:

Daiwa uses a 7 digit part number with a dash similar to a phone number except it can contain letters. For example F69-4201, or 145-9001, or W52-1401.

Some Daiwa schematics have 8 digits(this is rare) If yours does, the first digit will always be a 6. Take the 6 off the number and use the last 7 digits for example you might find on your schematic 6F694201. this number will be put into the system as F69-4201.

ABU GARCIA PARTS:

They use a very simple part numbering system usually with 5 or 6 digits. Just punch in the number as it appears. For example 25418 or 114584. If you are working on an old Abu Garcia model your schematic may have a four digit part number like 5176. These numbers are put in starting with a zero for example 05176.
